As an Instructional Designer, I am responsible for updating and enhancing current training curricula as well as helping to design and develop new training programs with a hybrid approach for in-house and remote employee learning, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and virtual delivery. Working with leadership and subject matter experts, I conduct needs assessments, provide instructional materials, facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, implement programs across the business units, and perform content and learning evaluations.

  • Conduct needs analysis, task analysis, audience analysis, and focus groups to determine learning objectives and the appropriate instructional strategies and delivery methods for training requests.

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

  • Outline and create evaluation and assessment strategies for learning solutions, including surveys, testing, and other measurement strategies.

  • Create and maintain various learning materials, including e-learning courses, demonstrations, simulations, videos, scenarios, case studies, exercises, workbooks, instructor and participant guides, slideshow decks, scripts, quick references, job aids, and knowledge checks.

  • Create storyboards for e-learning courses to include scripts, scenarios, visuals, and interactive elements to engage and enhance the learner experience.

  • Develop e-learning courses using Articulate 360: Storyline and Rise, and develop videos using Camtasia and other related video editing programs.
